In the fall of 2026, our city of Fukuoka will host Humanitude International Conference, "Humanitude Sans Frontières International Conference in Fukuoka 2026"!
Humanitude is a communication technique that conveys kindness to deepen the emotional bond with people with dementia and those who require care. People from all over the world who are working on Humanitude will gather here in Fukuoka, aiming for a society where everyone can receive better care.
There will also be pre-events that are open to everyone, not just professionals, so that citizens can easily participate and learn. Why not take this opportunity to experience a gentle form of care?

Why is it being held in Fukuoka?
Fukuoka City is promoting "Fukuoka 100," a project aimed at helping people live better lives in the era of 100-year lifespans. As part of this project, the city has been focusing on promoting Humanitude since fiscal year 2018.
In 2023, Fukuoka became the only local government in the world to sign the "Humanitude Sans Frontières Charter," which led to this momentous world first conference being held in Fukuoka.
