An introduction to the activities of Humanitude Promotion Headquarters

In 2018, Fukuoka City became the first city in the world to launch an initiative based on Humanitude, and in 2023, together with the French organization that devised Humanitude, it became the only municipality in the world to sign the "Humanitude Sans Frontières Charter." Now, in order to further promote the international spread of Humanitude, Fukuoka City has established the "Humanitude Promotion Headquarters."

This will bring the latest knowledge and know-how from France and Japan Humanitude Association into Fukuoka City, which will be shared with Fukuoka City.

Furthermore, this Promotion Headquarters will play a central role in disseminating information about Humanitude not only from France but also from Fukuoka City to both domestic and international audiences, and will provide support such as consultations to government agencies and elderly care facilities both in Japan and overseas that are considering introducing Humanitude.

Furthermore, as a concrete initiative of the Promotion Headquarters to disseminate information on Humanitude, an international conference on Humanitude Without Borders will be held at Fukuoka City International Conference Center in October 2026, to spread the importance of Humanitude from Fukuoka City to the world.
