A special feature Humanitude was published in Fukuoka City (November 15, 2025 issue)
The increase in dementia patients is a global social issue. In September 2025, the city opened the "Humanitude Promotion Headquarters" within the Dementia Friendly Center, which will serve as a base for promoting Humanitude both domestically and internationally.
Going forward, we will share the latest findings on Humanitude gathered from both within Japan and overseas with the public, and will also support its introduction in elderly care facilities, etc. Furthermore, in October 2026, we will hold an international conference on Humanitude Without Borders at the Fukuoka International Congress Center, disseminating the importance of Humanitude from Fukuoka City to the world.
Along with seven other organizations working to spread Humanitude worldwide, we are the only local government to sign the "Humanitude Sans Frontières Charter."
